You only need to register your information once and can return to this site to enter more brews or edit the brews you've entered. You can even pay your entry fees online if you wish.

Welcome to the 8th annual Ocean State Homebrew Competition, hosted by the Rhode Island Brewing Society at the Isle Brewers Guild in Pawtucket, RI.

If you were a participant last year we have carried over your registration information and you will not need to enter it again. You will need to register you entries though. Please make sure you check off whether you can judge or steward for each session.
This is an AHA/BJCP sanctioned event and will be following the 2015 BJCP Guidelines, available at http://bjcp.org/stylecenter.php We accept all styles of beer, mead and cider produced by amateur (non-commercial) entrants across the United States.
Judging will be held on Saturday, March 24th and Sunday, March 25th, 2017 at the Isle Brewers Guild, 461 Main Street, Pawtucket, RI, in the mezzanine of their amazing brewing facility!
Judges who commit to both days of judging will receive a $40 stipend for travel expenses. More details available on our volunteer registration pages. If you can judge or steward please be sure to check off each session for which you are available. BJCP judges and industry professionals will receive first consideration for all judging assignments. We always need judges though, so if you have any sensory training or experience please sign up to judge. Also, we ALWAYS need many stewards and volunteers of all types, so thank you in advance for your help!
Entries can be submitted by drop-off or mail-in starting January 2nd and ending February 18th, 2017. A list of available drop-off locations and shipping information can be found on the Entry Information page. Entry fees are $10.00 for the first entry, and then $6 per entry thereafter. Two (2) bottles are required for each entry. Single-bottle entries will be judged, but are not eligible for the Best-of-Show judging. Sorry but late entries and walk-in entries cannot be accepted.
