Welcome to the 7th annual Ocean State Homebrew Competition, hosted by JbreW and Rhode Island Brewing Society, and held at the Isle Brewers Guild, Pawtucket, RI

This is an AHA/BJCP sanctioned event and will be following the new 2015 BJCP Guidelines, available at http://bjcp.org/stylecenter.php We will accept all styles of beer, mead and cider produced by amateur (non-commercial) entrants across the United States, as well as an additional category for non-alcoholic sodas and 'hard' soft drinks.
Judging will be held on Saturday, March 4th and Sunday, March 5th, 2017 at the Isle Brewers Guild, 461 Main Street, Pawtucket, RI.
Judges who commit to both days of judging will receive a $40 stipend for travel expenses. More details on our volunteer registration pages. If you can judge or steward please be sure to check off each session you are available for. BJCP judges and industry professionals will receive first consideration for all judging assignments. Please do not sign up as a judge if you are not qualified to judge - contact our organizer if you are not sure.
Entries can be submitted by drop-off or mail-in starting January 2nd and ending February 10th, 2017. A list of available drop-off locations and shipping information can be found on the Entry Information page. A direct drop-off day for local entries will also be available at the university prior to the competition. Entry fees are $10.00 for the first entry, and then $6 per entry thereafter. Two (2) bottles are required for each entry. Single-bottle entries will be judged, but are not eligible for the Best-of-Show judging. Sorry but late entries and walk-in entries cannot be accepted.
